ITS CALLED Fishing NOT Catching

The Captain of the ship and I were back on the water this morning - However, this mornings trip was not as productive as others... Sassys sniffer was not 'in tune' with the fish. My good buddy Wes told me once - "THAT IS WHY THEY CALL IT FISHING and NOT CATCHING!" SOOOO, we will try again tomorrow morning...I will keep my fishing (and non-fishing) friends posted.

In Case You Were Wondering...

This "IN OUR FACE" catfish is BIG! Just look at the distance between his eyes!!! If they are above 15 pounds we let them back in the water... this one was 18 pounds.
Here's the catfish in comparison to our TightLine Cooler.
I know what your thinking...My Mom was wondering the same thing... 1st - Will Kevin and Sassy EVER reveal their fishing spot and 2nd - Where can I buy a TightLine hat like that...?

THE BIG ONE and couple smaller cats!!!!

These two cats put a good fight and so did the catfish...Nick is holding the THE BIG ONE...look at the belly on this Blue Cat.Rick did his best to not show any emotion when the Captain of the boat decided to let THE BIG ONE back into the water!!!This one weight in at 27 pounds!I am sure my grandpa would of been proud of the catch - but he is shaking his head because we set this one free... Personally, I think they taste a little like they have been in the lake for 10-15 years. It did not take long for him to say good bye!
